Louise is an experienced counselor with ten years in the field and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is also a cancer survivor whose own story propelled her into the counseling field later in life. After graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Master’s degrees in Biblical Studies and Counseling, she became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida and is qualified to supervise interns in both fields. Louise practices a collaborative style of counseling which emphasizes a positive relationship with your therapist, and she encourages exploration of your thoughts, feelings and actions, believing that a healthy integration of all three areas promotes personal well-being.

She enjoys blogging, teaching women’s Bible studies, leading small groups, reading nonfiction and babysitting her granddaughters.
